The format for the 2025 World Championship will be similar to the last Autospeed stagings, which were held at Cowdenbeath in 2018 and at St Day in 2022.  Each ORC Stock Rod promotion will be asked to nominate drivers, in seeded order.

Autospeed - 10 drivers
GMP Scotland - 8 drivers
Northern Ireland -  8 drivers

It will be entirely each promotion’s choice, as to how they identify their seeds, but they will need to be in a pre-determined order.

If a promotion is unable to fill their allocation of seeded places, those places will be reallocated to the other two promotions.

The 24 seeded drivers will undergo a time trials session at the start of Sunday 27 September.  The times of the corresponding seeds will be compared.  Hence, the times of the six Numbers One & Two seeds from each promotion will be compared, to determine grid positions 1 to 6; the times of the six Numbers Three & Four seeds will be compared, to determine grid positions 7 to 12; and so on.

Positions 25 & 26 will be filled in accordance with the final seeded places notified by Autospeed.

There will be a Last Chance qualifier to determine the final four places on the grid.

Pre-meeting practice arrangements will be confirmed in due course.
